How Recipezy collects, uses, and protects account data, recipes, media uploads, subscriptions, and shared links.
Information We Collect
Recipezy collects the information you choose to give us when you use the app or website.
- Account details such as your name, email address, profile photo, and sign-in provider.
- Content you create or upload, including recipes, shopping lists, meal plans, shared links, imported URLs, photos, and voice input.
- App settings and service data such as language preference, subscription status, device sync records, and technical logs needed to operate the service.
How We Use and Share Information
We use your information to run Recipezy, sync your content, process imports and AI features, provide support, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, and hosting.
- OpenAI for recipe extraction, translation, and other AI-powered processing you request.
- RevenueCat and Apple for subscription management, billing state, and purchase restoration.
Retention and Your Choices
Guest data may stay only on your device. Signed-in or synced data is stored until you delete it, close your account, or we need to keep limited records for security or legal reasons.
If you delete your account, we remove your user profile, recipes, monthly plans, shopping lists, and related stored files from our active systems.
- You can control camera, microphone, and photo permissions in iOS settings.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store account.
- If you share a recipe publicly, that shared page can remain visible until you unshare or delete the recipe.
Children and Contact
Recipezy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
